Terms of Service — StayEatDoIRL
Effective: 2026-06-23 · Last updated: 2026-06-23
StayEatDoIRL (“we,” “us”) is a travel social network for sharing places and organizing real-life gatherings. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to the Serendipity Network Terms of Service, which are incorporated here by reference and which govern the shared identity and graph services this app is built on.
1. Your account
Accounts are created with an email address. We send a one-time code instead of using a password. If your account also has a verified phone number, you can request that code by text instead. You are responsible for keeping access to the inbox and phone number on your account, and for activity that happens under it.
You must be at least 13 years old to use StayEatDoIRL, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
2. What you post
You keep ownership of what you post. You grant us the license needed to store it, show it to the people you share it with, and operate the service. Don’t post content you have no right to share, and don’t post another person’s private information.
3. Acceptable use
- No harassment, threats, hate speech, or content that sexualizes minors.
- No impersonating another person, group, or venue.
- No scraping, automated bulk access, or attempts to circumvent rate limits or access controls.
- No using the invitation, ask, or meetup features to send unsolicited bulk messages.
You can block another member at any time; blocking is mutual and hides both directions. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.
4. Meetups happen in the real world
StayEatDoIRL helps people plan to meet in person. We do not vet members, venues, or events, and we are not a party to any gathering organized through the service. Use your own judgment about who you meet and where. Meeting anyone in person is at your own risk.
5. Third-party services and links
Booking, reservation, and ticket links may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you book through them. That never changes what you pay, and it never changes which places we show you. Connecting a bank account (via Plaid) or an email inbox (via our platform’s ingestion service) is always optional, is described in the Privacy Policy, and can be disconnected at any time.
6. Your data and your right to leave
How we collect, use, and protect your data is described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your data or delete your account from within the app; deletion removes your account data and propagates deletion of what we contributed to the shared network graph.
7. Service changes, disclaimers, and liability
The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
8. Changes to these terms
If we make a material change we will update the effective date above and ask you to acknowledge the new version the next time you sign in. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
9. Contact
